PURE SINGLE PREMIUM BLEND - Batch #001, only 373 available
Aged in the barrel from 3 to 6 years in selected Ex-bourbon & Ex Red Wine Casks, then married together to create this exceptional easy drinking and versatile Rum.
Head Distiller Kris Restall tasting notes: At 43% ABV, this rum presents a slightly gentler strength than our usual Pure Singles, yet it delivers a full, flavourful experience while maintaining a smooth, velvety texture. On the nose, the influence of red wine casks comes forward with rich aromas of dark berries, cherries, and ripe plums. The palate is a harmonious blend of creamy vanillas and indulgent caramel, while the finish lingers long, shaped by the oak and red wine casks, offering a deep, resonant complexity. This release is not merely a drink—it is a tale told in spirit, the Spirit of Lord Byron.
Ex-Bourbon Cask
Delivering complex warming flavours of vanilla, caramel & toasted oak.
Ex-Red Wine Cask
Enhancing character by adding fruity notes, tannins and a hint of spices.
Perfect Serve: If not drinking neat, pairs fantastic with fever tree ginger ale, slice of orange to garnish.
